Build on High School or Employer-Sponsored TrainingWhether you are coming from high school or have years of experience under your belt, an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Mechatronics Engineering Technology may be the ticket for your career. In a survey conducted by IMTC in 2007, industry choose the Associates Degree as the most suitable credential for world-class industrial maintenance personnel. Plant managers tell us they hope that their existing maintenance staffs will aspire to the associates degree. If you are a high school student, you high school career center may be able to start you on the path through dual enrollment. If you are an existing worker, you can earn college credit through industrial maintenance training programs offered by IMTC and sponsored by your employer.
