The Advanced Manufacturing / Integrated Systems Technician Level 2 certificate is intended as a follow-on program for students who have completed the AM/IST Level 1 program.  The Level 2 program was created with the approval and advice of the Mid-Atlantic Mechatronics Advisory Council, following the model of the original AM/IST certificate.  This program is presented in much the same way as the Level 1 program.  The Level 2 program is currently available only at the Reading Area Commuinty College Schmidt Training and Technology Center.  Successful completion of the program qualifies the student for 12 college credits toward RACC's Associate in Applied Science Degree in Mechatronics Engineering Technology.

The program is available in two options corresponding to the two options offered for AM/IST Level 1.  The student should use the same PLC platform that was used in Level 1.
